In my makeup collection I didn't have any revolution products previously but on my travels to London at the weekend I went in superdrug and came across this beautiful eye shadow palette with lovely pinky warm tones which is exactly what I've been looking for x you may notice that my previous posts include a page on the urban decay naked 3 palette which is £37 which I've wanted for ages now but little did I know that the revolution palette I know own is actually a dupe of the naked palette and the even better thing is that the revolution iconic 3 palette was an amazing £4!!!
If you compare the colours they're almost identical where both palettes have matte and shimmery shades and also just the general colours and pigments are the same x
Product: The quality of eye shadow on the revolution palette (3) are all very pigmented and mostly show up very well on my skin. The only thing I would have to say is that the lightest shade isn't quite light enough as it mtches my skin tone so I can't really highlight my inner corners using this palette. I think all the other colours work really well together and I especially love how the matte browns in this palette are perfect for doing my eyebrows with even though I don't do them very often.
Packaging and display: I don't really like how most eyeshadows are displayed in circles (don't know why) and most palettes that I have come across have circular colour pads. This palette has a lovely shiny black casing with smart gold lettering and inside as you can see on the photo above the eye shadows are long rectangle shapes. This palette is easy to get into but is also very secure. This product also comes with a small double ended standard quality brush.
Price: like I said at the beginning this product is a dube of the naked 3 palette which is £37 so this revolution palette is incredibly amazing value for money as it's only £4!!
I highly recommend this product if you like eyeshadow or are interested in buying the naked 3 palette as I think you should try this one first as it's better quality than I originally thought it would be.
(Sorry I haven't swatched these colours but I think you can see for yourself in the photo I have used what colours they are! X )
